The Terminator Is Pretty Embarrassing In Places Says James Cameron

"The Terminator" is "pretty embarrassing" in places, says James Cameron

The director has spoken out about the "clunky" aspects of his iconic 1984 film.

James Cameron has admitted that he finds some parts of his iconic 1984 film "The Terminator" to be "pretty embarrassing".

The director, who was speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, said that he was particularly critical of the film's early scenes, which he felt were "clunky" and "awkward".

"I look back on it now and I'm like, 'Oh my God, that's so embarrassing'," he said. "The first 10 minutes of the movie are just so clunky and awkward."

Cameron also said that he was unhappy with the film's special effects, which he felt were "primitive" by today's standards.

"The special effects were so primitive," he said. "I mean, they were groundbreaking at the time, but they look so cheesy now."

Despite his criticisms, Cameron said that he was still proud of the film, which he described as a "landmark" in the history of science fiction cinema.

"It's a landmark film," he said. "It's one of those films that changed the way people thought about science fiction."

"The Terminator" was a critical and commercial success when it was released in 1984. The film spawned a franchise that includes several sequels, a television series, and a video game.
